Access to the spring is limited to those who are snorkeling or scuba diving
The Georgia/Florida Aquifer catchment area has received and unprecedented amount of rain this summer. The Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring is part of that aquifer and as a result our water level is currently 8-10 feet above what we consider normal.
We have limited to no areas where a snorkeler can stand. This can be especially dangerous to our smaller guests.
We do not allow floatation devices in the Den. These prehistoric ledges and formations can snag a flotation device and hold the snorkeler under water.
We insist that all guests planning on visiting the Den are strong and confident swimmers. If you or a member of your party are not a strong swimmer, we suggest you reschedule your visit.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, please understand that our primary concern is your safety.
We don't want our guests hungry! We are happy to provide a food truck that has everything from burgers to philly cheesesteaks. And they're now offering vegetarian options!
Weekends ONLY until further notice.
